Rahul Reddy, SVP Strategic Relations and New Initiatives for Apollo Hospitals, is responsible for exploring, evaluating, and developing strategic relationships as well as new programs that allow Apollo Hospitals to expand its ability to provide effective and compassionate healthcare to a greater number of people. This has included initiating and launching Apollo’s International Coordinated Care program, NRI 360, mobile first disease management solution, and international research programs related to South Asian health. Mr. Reddy has extensive experience with IT and healthcare as a CEO, executive, and entrepreneur. He sits on the advisory board for the commercialization arm of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and is board president of Lake Oswego Community Rowing (LOCR). He has a B.A. from the University of Portland in Business and Computer Systems and is based in the Lake Oswego, OR, USA. Apollo Hospitals started as a 150 bed hospital in Chennai, India in 1983. Currently the Apollo Hospitals Group is South Asia’s largest integrated healthcare organization. It owns and manages 72 hospitals, 100+ clinics, and India’s largest chain of dispensing pharmacies. To enhance performance and service to customers, the group also makes available the services to support the business of healthcare. These include telemedicine services, education and training programs, clinical research and consultancy services.
