Brigitte Piniewski is a physician, ex-healthcare executive, researcher, author, and angel investor with deep expertise in many angles of healthcare. While providing investor education in Web3 ethos, she has articulated an urgent need for health transformation and the pivotal achievements that these new technological approaches are poised to produce. To this end, Dr Piniewski advises for Nex Cubed, a leader in early-stage innovation and start-up acceleration. She has worked with international founders from Singapore, Korea, and Canada as well as the United States. Dr Piniewski received her medical degree from the University of British Columbia and McGill University, Canada and she currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Marcus Zachary

Dr. Marcus Zachary is a physician executive specializing in population health. He currently works at Babylon Health as the Chief Clinical Officer overseeing US operations. Prior to being in operations, he served as the Global Head of Business Development working broadly with product, clinical, operations and sales to deploy this first of its kind virtual primary care model. Before joining Babylon, Dr Zachary was the Associate CMO and National Medical Executive for Payer Partnership Solutions at Evolent Health. He provided clinical support and oversight for all activities occurring in the solution. This included but was not limited to business development, clinical implementation, medical analytics and ongoing operations. Marcus also provided a California IPA lens to organizational efforts around HCC/RAF, clinical analytics, quality and physician compensation. Prior to joining Evolent, Dr. Zachary was the VP/Senior medical director for quality and population health at Brown and Toland Medical Group. He was responsible for the strategic goals of BTMG with particular focus on ACOs and other risk products. He also had direct operational oversight of the medical services organization and performance improvement departments. Within the organization, Dr. Zachary helped design and drive initiatives linking quality, utilization, and IT in the pursuit of the Triple Aim. Prior to joining BTMG, Dr. Zachary was the lead physician informaticist for Dignity Health in San Francisco. He oversaw the implementation of their hospital electronic medical records system (Cerner). Dr. Zachary served as a Medical Director for both Cogent-HMG and Galen Inpatient Physicians for their respective Hospital Medicine Programs. He is board certified in internal medicine with over a decade of clinical experience as a hospitalist and is a Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Reena Bhargava, MD, FACP, is a practicing Internist with Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Clinical Informatics, and Lifestyle Medicine. Reena is the Medical Director of Kaiser’s Appointment & Advice Call Center which serves over 4 million patients with their telehealth needs. Reena also serves as a Councilor on the Santa Clara County Medical Association.Reena is passionate about building efficient, clinically safe patient care systems for telehealth, supported by innovative digital technologies. She has been a lead physician for developing clinical decision support tools for Kaiser’s telehealth platform. This platform uses data driven, evidence-based medicine to provide safe, efficient and excellent patient care. Reena has also developed many innovative digital care-delivery tools, including electronic physician visits (e-Visits). Her work on e-Visits and their efficacy has been published in the prestigious publication, JAMA. Reena is a researcher and has published extensively in leading medical journals. Earlier in her career she trained at Stanford University School of Medicine as an NIH Fellow in Endocrinology with a focus on Insulin Resistance and Metabolic Syndrome. From 2006 to 2015, she was a Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) of Medicine at Stanford. Reena is also a leader in women’s health, developing a Healthy Bones program to screen some hundreds of thousands of women for osteoporosis. She has presented her research on osteoporosis, gender bias in lipid management, and domestic/intimate partner violence at International and National Medical conferences.
