Ravi Radhakrishnan is the Chief Information Officer and Head of Technology for Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) at Wells Fargo. He reports jointly to the Head of Wells Fargo Technology and to the CEOs of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking.
In his role as the business CIO for CB & CIB, Ravi leads technology teams enabling several key businesses including Capital Markets, Corporate / Investment Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, Treasury Management, Customer Care, Digital & Transformation and Operations, in addition to providing Capital Markets Services, Payments Technology, and International Technology to multiple business lines across the firm.
Ravi additionally leads the Strategic Services & Advanced Technology group that focuses on Smart Content Management, Customer Relationship Management, Robotics & Intelligent Automation, Distributed Ledger Technology, Advanced Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing. Ravi leads Wells Fargo's Academia and Industry Research partnerships including Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), Stanford Platform Lab, and MIT-IBM Watson Artificial Intelligence Lab.
Ravi's leadership accountability also includes oversight of the Office of the Head of Technology which has responsibility for Wells Fargo Technology's Strategy, Business Processes, Business Data & Analytics, Portfolio Governance & Initiative Management and Business Services to drive effective business management and enable technology transformation.
Ravi is a member of the Wells Fargo Technology executive leadership team and the Wells Fargo Management Committee. He serves on the board of Wells Fargo International Solutions (India/Philippines) and leads its Technology Committee. He is a member of the Wells Fargo Patent Executive Sponsor Group, and serves as the Racial / Ethnic Diversity Lead for the Well Fargo Technology Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Ravi joined Wells Fargo in 2012 as the CIO of Capital Markets and has held a number of leadership positions including CIO of Wholesale Banking and Enterprise CIO. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Ravi was at Citigroup for 18 years and held various Capital Markets and Investment Banking technology leadership roles, including global head of Equities Technology & Electronic Trading Infrastructure, and global co-head of Equities and Prime Services Technology.
Ravi received his bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy in Chennai, India, and a master's degree in computer science from Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey. He is based in San Francisco, California.
