C.J. Bhalla joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006 as VP and CFO for Kaiser Permanente Information Technology.  She is responsible for managing the organization’s $2.2 billion annual budget and the day-to-day accountability for business results related to IT accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. In this role, she is a part of the Executive Committee and works closely with IT National Functional Finance Leadership and regional CFOs, and is a member of Kaiser Permanente’s corporate finance leadership team. In January 2010, C.J.’s role was expanded to include Strategic Services, where she will help to drive alignment and integration of the IT Strategy with the overall KP Strategy.

C.J. brings more than 15 years of experience as a corporate finance and business professional leading merger and acquisition, marketing and pricing analysis, cost modeling, and financial planning and analysis functions. Prior to joining IT, C.J. held various finance and strategy leadership positions with Charles Schwab & Co., most recently serving as senior vice president of Strategy and Integration for Active Trader, a unit producing $600 million in annual revenues.

C.J. received an M.B.A. from Virginia Polytechnic University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India.
