Dr. Geetha Rao is the founder and CEO of MyMedFax, Inc. a personal health records services company. She is an experienced entrepreneur and also serves as interim executive and advisor, including VP of Strategy & Risk Management at Triple Ring Technologies, Inc. Previously she was Chief Corporate Development Officer at Molecular Image, Inc., an MRI-based diagnostic company, and CEO of Norgren Systems, a biotechnology/drug discovery automation company.

Dr. Rao has been active with several professional and non-profit organizations. She served as Life Sciences Program Chair for Astia, formerly Women’s Technology Cluster, Steering Committee member and past-chair of ASQ Biomedical Division, Northern California Discussion Group, previous chair of the MIT/Stanford Venture Lab’s Emerging Business Track for Life Sciences, and has been a guest faculty on Stanford University’s Biodesign Innovation Program. Dr. Rao is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, holds a doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where she was a Sloan Fellow.
