Going Green Design Contest

TiE and sponsors have partnered to launch an exciting “Going Green” design contest. The design must follow a Going Green theme. Any Going Green or CleanTech theme/design related to minimizing energy consumption, waste, or pollution is acceptable.

PRIZES

• Grand Prize: $500 USD
• 2nd prize : $200 USD
• 3rd prize : $100 USD

All three prizes will be decided by a panel of judges selected by TiE and in that panel’s sole discretion. The grand prize winning entry may be used in the design of the TiEcon2008 Poster/Banner.

HOW TO SUBMIT

1. Design guidelines
1. Please make sure your design is in jpg, jpeg, or bmp formats.
2. The size of the design should be no larger than 4 MB.
3. Each participant may submit up to 5 entries.
2. Submission of your design:
1. Create an account at www.mytiecon.org and note your user ID.
2. Create an account at www.flickr.com using your mytiecon.org user ID. (Note: If you have any problem creating the Flickr account, or if your Flicr name is different from your mytiecon.org ID, please SKIP to step 10 below).
   
3. Upload your design(s) to your Flickr account.
4. TAG your uploaded design(s) with "GoingGreen" and "TiEcon2008" tags. You may also choose to add name and description to your design.
5. Go directly to the "GoingGreen" group by clicking here. Alternately, you may "Search for a Group" and search for the Flickr Group, "GoingGreen". 
6. Join the "GoingGreen" group by clicking on, 'Join the Group?'
7. Read the official rules for submissions by clicking here.
8. Select your design, and from the menu above the your photo, click on "SEND TO GROUP". 
9. Click on group, "GoingGreen" and your design will be added to the Flickr group 'GoingGreen'. Next, please SKIP to step 11.
